RSK Asbestos has an exciting opportunity to join their growing team as an Asbestos Consultant.

We are seeking an ambitious surveyor or analyst to join our team in the Midlands or South East of England. Preferred locations include Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Greater London, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Warwickshire, or West Midlands. The role involves a mix of home, site, and office-based work.

RSK Asbestos is a UKAS-accredited consultancy with offices in Hemel Hempstead, Coventry, Helsby, and Glasgow, providing comprehensive asbestos consultancy services nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Survey properties for asbestos presence
  • Prepare survey plans
  • Conduct air monitoring and inspect asbestos removal works
  • Photograph asbestos areas within surveyed properties
  • Travel across the UK to client sites as needed
  • Generate survey reports with plans, photos, and recommendations
  • Communicate with clients on-site and in the office regarding issues
  • Complete monthly quality control checks promptly

Person Specification:

  • Relevant P Certs and at least 6 months documented experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good IT skills for survey work
  • Desirable: Experience with air testing software
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and within a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation

Salary and Benefits:

  • £35,000 - £41,000 depending on experience
  • Flexible benefits including additional holidays, childcare vouchers, and private healthcare
