Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst for a permanent, full-time position in Loughborough, East Midlands. The role covers asbestos analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites, with a strong emphasis on high-quality reporting and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds BOHS P403/P404 (essential) with P402 (preferred), has at least 2 years’ experience, and possesses a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• BOHS P403 & P404 are essential.
• BOHS P402 is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Asbestos Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking the full range of asbestos analytical duties.
• Carrying out air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing, and 4-stage clearances.
• Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.
• Producing accurate, compliant reports and site documentation.
• Ensuring all work complies with HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
