The Role And What You’ll Do
Artworkers/Designers are essential to 160/90’s creative team and support Sr. Designers, Art Directors and Creative Directors across multiple accounts.
As an Artworker/Designer, you have a deep understanding of the specific design demands of both traditional and digital media; you will produce the innovative and memorable cross-channel work that continues to make our agency, and the brands we work for, stand out and be talked about in the industry.
This position requires a passionate and talented pixel-perfect Designer who will create and execute daily design across a wide variety of creative. You’ll work closely with our creative, experiential and production teams to make sure every file is spot on, every layout is clean, and implementing runs smoothly, whether it’s heading to a printer, a partner, or a client presentation. You are also able to work across a variety of platforms including presentation design, social, digital, print, OOH, experiential and more.

Artworker/Designers report to Sr. Designers, Associate Design Director or Creative Director on a project-basis and ultimately to the Executive Creative Director.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ensure consistency and efficacy of design throughout all work, collaborating with design leads in reviewing work to ensure work adheres to brand guidelines
- Play a hands-on role in the design of outstanding creative, working collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Creative, Experiential and Business Development teams to build impactful client presentations
- Thorough understanding of fundamental design disciplines and principles such as colour composition, typography and attention to detail
- Maintain a keen eye on industry and visual design trends across culture and other agencies, sharing with peers and leveraging them in your work
- Receptive to creative feedback and showing adaptability in your design development process
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills are a must-have – the ability to manage multiple projects on tight timelines while remaining detail oriented is a key part of this role
- Consistent communication with project owners, colleagues and design leads throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical input and advice on projects as to achieve high quality work
- Adaptable and ability to learn quickly
- Offer input and share ideas at creative meetings
- Manage creative request workflow by prioritizing projects
You Have These
- 2-4 years of Design experience within a branding or design firm, creative/marketing agency or similar setting
- Digital design portfolio of imaginative, impactful and technically superior design work
- Creating clean, consistent decks in Keynote, Figma, Google Slides or PowerPoint that help sell big ideas
- Building out design across multiple deliverables, from signage and environmental graphics to packaging and decks, always keeping things pixel (and millimetre) perfect.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite
- Turning creative concepts into fully finished artwork, ready for print or presentation
- Self-driven, eager to learn and goal-oriented
- Solid understanding of print production processes, including bleeds, die lines and colour profiles
- Excellent attention to detail and a thorough, methodical approach to design.
- Strong knowledge of design trends and best practices
- Multi-disciplinary craft and cross-platform abilities including design, photography, film, animation and mixed media communication and storytelling
