Job summary

Vanilla Recruitment is recruiting a POS Artwork Specialist / Artwork Specialist to join a well-established POS design and manufacturing business, creating production-ready artwork from brand assets for retail displays across the UK.

Work on diverse projects from bespoke prototypes to national rollouts, ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines and smooth handovers to production and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Artworker or Production Artworker in a production-led environment.
• Proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Understanding of print production and pre-press processes.
• Experience working with brand assets and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare print-ready artwork from supplied brand assets and files.
• Adapt artwork for various POS formats, sizes and materials.
• Prepare artwork for print/manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy.
• Check files before release to production and manage version control.
• Collaborate with account management, production and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with creative artwork development and image preparation.

Job description

We’re delighted to be recruiting a POSArtwork Specialist / Artworker on behalf of a well-established Point of Sale design and manufacturing business specialising in high-quality retail displays for leading fragrance and beauty brands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Artwork Specialist to join a growing organisation and work on a varied range of projects, from bespoke prototypes to large-scale national retail rollouts. The role offers the chance to take supplied brand assets and transform them into accurate, production-ready artwork that will be seen in retail environments across the UK.

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week 8am-5pm
• 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Profit-related pay

Duties and responsibilities

• Create and prepare print-ready artwork from supplied brand assets, guidelines and creative files
• Adapt artwork across a wide range of Point of Sale display formats, sizes and materials
• Prepare artwork for various print and manufacturing processes, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with production requirements
• Carry out thorough checks before artwork is released to production, ensuring files are complete and accurate
• Make amendments and manage version control across multiple projects and retail campaigns
• Work closely with account management, production and manufacturing teams to support successful project delivery
• Assist with creative artwork development, image preparation and maintenance of the company website where required

Required skills and experience

• Previous experience in an Artworker, Production Artworker or Artwork Specialist job within a production-led environment
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Strong understanding of print production, pre-press processes and the preparation of production-ready artwork
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects
• Experience working from supplied brand assets and adhering to detailed brand guidelines
• Ability to understand how artwork translates into physical retail displays and manufactured products
• Experience within Point of Sale, retail graphics, packaging, signage, exhibition displays, large-format print or similar sectors would be advantageous
