Job summary

The Core at Corby Cube is seeking an inspiring Director to combine artistic vision with exceptional people leadership, shaping a vibrant programme and deeper community connections in Corby. You will put children and young people at the heart of our work, growing audiences and strengthening partnerships while ensuring financial resilience for the future.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience leading a theatre or cultural organisation.
Proven ability to develop diverse, inclusive programmes.
Strong track record in fundraising, trusts and foundations.
Excellent communications, negotiation and advocacy skills.
Experience in building partnerships with producers, venues and funders.

Responsibilities

Lead The Core's strategic direction with the CEO and Board.
Shape an ambitious, diverse programme balancing artistic aims with audience growth.
Develop participatory work with communities and youth.
Build relationships with funders, partners and cultural networks across the UK.
Oversee financial performance, budgeting and sponsorship activity.
Recruit, develop and motivate staff and ensure clear performance management.
