Job summary

Rick Stein Restaurants in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be producing high-quality desserts, following recipes, and helping deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.

We value attention to detail, pride in presentation, and a team spirit. Previous pastry or professional kitchen experience is preferred, with a willingness to learn, develop, and progress within the pastry brigade.

Qualifications

• Previous pastry or professional kitchen experience.
• Passion for baking and high-quality ingredients.
• Strong presentation and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality desserts in line with recipes.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef during service.
• Ensure desserts are presented to brand standards.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety throughout the pastry section.
• Manage stock, labeling, rotation and waste control.
• Mentor junior kitchen team members when possible.
• Contribute ideas for desserts, menus and seasonal items.
