Techmunity are hiring an AI/MLOps Engineer for a London startup using AI to solve a real, deeply human problem in healthcare: too much admin, not enough time for care.

They’ve just wrapped a successful pilot, are onboarding paying customers, and have secured a commercial rollout across 160+ care homes.

Backed by Outward VC, Portfolio Ventures, and the founder of Blue Prism, they’re scaling their engineering team — starting with a mission-critical AI/MLOps hire.

What They’re Building

This is a mobile-first platform that lets frontline staff speak naturally — capturing 30-second voice notes that the AI instantly transforms into structured documentation. No more sitting in the office at the end of a long shift.

Behind the scenes, a smart “digital deputy” organises, flags gaps, and suggests follow-ups. And over time, the system surfaces patterns that would otherwise get buried — early warning signs, behaviour changes, staff wellbeing issues — all in seconds.

It’s already saving teams 2+ hours a day — time that goes straight back into human connection and quality care.

The Role

As the AI/MLOps Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the systems that make this all work reliably in the wild. You’ll:

• Build agentic LLM workflows that process and transform natural language input
• Set up pipelines (CI/CD, MLFlow, Azure) and versioning to keep models stable and up-to-date
• Implement monitoring, evaluation, and feedback loops that catch issues early
• Design AI tools that are usable by non-technical care workers — think voice notes, not dashboards
• Scale the platform to work across thousands of messy, real-world inputs

What You Bring

• Proven experience shipping LLM/generative AI systems into production
• Strong Python, MLOps tooling, containerisation (Docker), cloud (Azure preferred)
• Hands-on with RAG, prompt chaining, model evaluation and iteration
• Builder mindset — practical, fast, quality-focused, and user-aware

Bonus points if you’ve worked with multimodal AI, prompt-heavy systems, or healthcare/social care data.
