A vibrant school in Lincoln is seeking a passionate Art & Textiles Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Art & Textiles Teacher to join a supportive department where your creative freedom and artistic vision will be nurtured and celebrated.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Art and Textiles for KS3 to KS5
  • Inspire and nurture creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking in students
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure high achievement
  • Maintain a well-organised, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Integrate the use of mixed media, digital design, and practical textile applications
  • Prepare students for coursework and external assessments in accordance with exam board specifications
  • Collaborate with the wider creative faculty to contribute to cross-curricular projects and whole-school displays

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Specialism in Art, Textiles, or a closely related subject
  • Proven experience teaching Art and/or Textiles in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • A thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for Art and Textiles
  • Confidence in teaching a variety of techniques, including drawing, painting, printmaking, embroidery, and fashion/textile construction
