Job summary

Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich, part of the Harris Federation, is appointing an Art Technician to support the Art department and pupils across lessons and enrichment activities. You will manage equipment, assist with practicals, and contribute to stock, safety and administration within a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with cameras and editing imagery using Photoshop.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Initiative; proactive, bringing improvements and spotting potential problems.
• Background in arts with aesthetic understanding essential for the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality technical support to Art department and pupils.
• Prepare equipment to the teacher's specifications.
• Care and maintenance of Art equipment.
• Organise stock, orders and record keeping of materials.
• Support practical lessons and enrichment activities.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Support Digital Photography, Textiles and Ceramics requirements.
