Job description

Job Title – Art Technician: Collection and Delivery

Job Location – Hertfordshire

Salary – £13 per hour with a 50 hour week

Our client is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and trustworthy individual to join their high-performing team as an art collection and delivery technician.

You will also help with the installation of art, covering the UK and across Europe.

Our client is an international logistics provider that offers bespoke solutions for art handling, installation, and transport. They are a trusted partner to leading artists, commercial galleries, collectors, and public museums worldwide.

Joining the team, you will assist with loading art products and transporting them to scheduled galleries and museums. This is an interactive role where you will have the opportunity to build relationships directly with artists and collectors.

Due to the client-facing aspect of the role, you must maintain a smart appearance, be cheerful, and self-motivated. You will be expected to complete overtime when necessary to maintain service levels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Complying with all drivers’ hours and Road Transport Directive legislation
  2. Loading and unloading vehicles while maintaining safety and security of the load at all times
  3. Art installation
  4. Acting as a company ambassador when dealing with clients
  5. Completing all paperwork
  6. Adjusting routes when necessary
  7. Providing feedback to the traffic office on any issues around load planning and routing

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  1. Must have a driving licence and passport as you will be required to work abroad
  2. From a trade background
  3. Demonstrable route planning and map reading ability
