A leading educational institution in England is seeking an Art Technician to support the Art Department with maintaining studio facilities, managing resources, and ensuring health and safety compliance. The role is part-time at 15 hours a week during term time. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant area, experience in ceramics, and strong technical support skills. The Art Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of the Art Department, which includes an Art Studio and Ceramic Studio. We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient subject specialist to support with maintaining studio and workshop facilities, managing resources, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
The Art Technician supports the Head of Art and students by providing technical expertise, overseeing equipment and material maintenance, and facilitating a conducive learning environment. The role is for 3 hours per day (15 hours per week - with some degree of flexibility), term time only.
