Job summary

The ideal candidate will prepare materials for art lessons, assist teaching staff, and maintain safety procedures. A strong interest in Art & Design and organisational skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials, equipment, and resources for practical art lessons

  • Support teaching staff with lesson setup and demonstrations

  • Maintain and organise art stock, tools, and classroom displays

  • Assist with health and safety procedures and risk assessments

  • Manage kiln operations and other specialist art equipment (where applicable)

  • Support with exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A strong interest in Art & Design and working in an educational environment

  • Good organisational and time-management skills

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A practical, hands-on approach and attention to detail

  • Experience in an art-related or technician role (preferred)

  • Awareness of health & safety in art environments
