Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

A vibrant Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students through the power of art. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive Art lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and creative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their artistic skills.
- Use a range of materials, techniques, and projects to inspire students and promote self-expression.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Support students’ emotional and social development through creative learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art, preferably in an alternative provision or with students who have faced barriers to education.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A strong understanding of SEN and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and compassionate approach.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
