A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Southwark is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a vibrant SEN school in Southwark
• Teach Art to students with a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support to enhance their creative expression
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons, ensuring accessibility for all students

• Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students with individual learning needs

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Art, ideally in an SEN setting or with students with additional needs
• Strong understanding of creative teaching methods and strategies for differentiating Art lessons
• A passion for the arts and helping students express themselves creatively
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS check required
