The Role: As an Art Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of art, design, and creative expression.
Develop and implement exciting lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the school's commitment to artistic excellence.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and artistic mediums to cater to diverse learning styles and inspire students.
Guide and encourage students to explore different art forms, develop their technical skills, and express their unique creativity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to help each student reach their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Art department to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the school's vibrant arts culture through exhibitions and displays.
Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Art curriculum.
Experience teaching a range of art and design disciplines.
The Ideal Candidate: Possesses excellent subject knowledge and a passion for art and design.
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
