An exceptional Alternative Provision in Enfield is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who have faced challenges in mainstream education and help them express themselves through the creative arts in a supportive, inclusive, and structured environment.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at an exceptional Alternative Provision in Enfield
• Teach Art to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), emotional and mental health (SEMH), and moderate learning difficulties
• Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging, and differentiated Art lessons that encourage students’ creativity and self-expression
• Foster a love of the arts by integrating various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital arts
• Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and other staff to create individualized learning plans and ensure all students are supported
• Track student progress, offering tailored support to help them build their skills and confidence
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that promotes self-expression and personal development

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching students with additional needs
