About the Role

An Independent school in Barnet requires a creative Art Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated Art Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering various mediums and techniques.
  • Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
  • Develop students' artistic skills and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of art resources.
  • Organise and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
  • Proven experience in teaching art at secondary level.
  • Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
