art-K is a private art education service that teaches children who love art! weekly during the day, after school, and on weekends. art-K has developed a specialist art program that tutors art skills to create great pieces of art. We are the largest art education service in England, teaching over 5500 children weekly!

Role Overview

50% of the Club Manager's time is dedicated to teaching students, 25% to class preparation, and 25% to admin and promotion.

The successful applicant will receive full training in our teaching methods and will be supported by the central support team and other art teachers based in their own studios.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Work with high teacher-pupil ratios, teaching children who love art.
  2. Work in a company whose core values include sharing & educating, growth mindset, connection, and compassion.
  3. Join a strong team of like-minded art teachers.
  4. Embark on a 2-year training program covering teaching, art techniques, child development, systems, and customer engagement.
  5. Receive face-to-face training on all art projects from Kathryn, the Creative Director.
  6. Undergo training on administration and growth to support the club's development.
  7. Contribute to the art-K program by collaborating with the team on projects.
  8. Build relationships with students and parents, supporting long-term engagement.
  9. Manage ad-hoc studio maintenance.

  • Art or teaching degree.
  • Skills in various art mediums.
  • Experience teaching children.

Sick Pay

Salary

£33,464 - £37,974 per annum, fixed and reviewed each term based on experience and club growth.

Silk Mill Business Park, 5 Brook St, Tring HP23 5EF

Working Hours

Term time: Tuesdays to Saturdays. Tuesday 13:30-21:30, Wednesday 10:00-18:00, Thursday 12:00-20:00, Friday 10:00-18:00, Saturday 8:00-16:00. During school holidays, work Monday to Friday (14 weeks/year).
