A leading private art education service is searching for a Club Manager in Maidstone. You'll be responsible for teaching art, engaging with students, and managing club operations. Ideal candidates have an art or teaching degree, are passionate about art education, and possess strong communication skills. The role offers a competitive salary and a supportive training environment. Start date is December 1, 2025.
art-K is a private art education service which teaches children (who love art!) weekly during the day, after school and on the weekend. art-K has developed a specialist art program that tutors art skills to create great pieces of art. We are the largest art education service in England, teaching over 7000 students nationally per week!
All educationalists agree that art has positive effects on mental health, self-confidence and developing an individual personality. art-K helps realise those benefits by engaging teachers dedicated to these ideals and providing art projects that are inspiring and fun.
Our Maidstonebranch has a wonderful group of students! 50% of Club Manager time is dedicated to teaching the students, 25% is spent on preparing for the classes, 25% to admin and promotion.
The successful applicant will be given full training in our teaching methods and techniques to run the club. The employee will be closely supported by the central support team as well as other art teachers, each based in their own art studio.

Pension Scheme: Contributions are made to NEST pension.
Sick Pay: Following probation, enhanced sick pay policy; 3 weeks full pay in any 12 month period.
Schedule:
Monday 10:00 - 18:00 (optional)
Wednesday 12:00 - 20:00
Thursday 9:30 - 17:30
Friday 10:00 - 18:00
Saturday 8:30 - 16:30
Total:32 hours per week (without Monday) or 40 hours per week (including Monday)
Start date: 1st December 2025
Salary:£28,230 - £42,956
Fixed salary weighted based on experience, which will increase as the club grows. Salary is reviewed every term.
Location:34 Royal Star Arcade, Maidstone ME14 1JL
Term time: Mondays to Saturdays. During school holidays Club Managers work Mondays to Fridays (14 weeks per year).
