Job description

Protocol Education is looking for a Qualified Teacher of Art

Start date: New Academic Year.

With the school summer holidays approaching, the new academic year is near, and we are seeking Teachers to start next term. A change of scenery and new faces can be just what’s needed to thrive once more.

Protocol Education is a market-leading supply agency seeking to hire an inspiring Art Teacher with the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in teaching.

Required qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Main responsibilities:
  • Preparing and delivering fun, engaging lessons.
  • Marking and correcting workbooks and assignments.
  • Testing student knowledge through mock tests and other methods.
  • Monitoring the health and wellbeing of students.
  • Participating in staff meetings and collaborating with parents when necessary.
  • Maintaining good communication with the DSL lead to ensure vigilance in safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be confident in managing a maximum capacity class, and demonstrate patience and passion to support student needs.

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency in some cases.
