Job Opportunity: Art Teacher

Location: Wakefield, United Kingdom

Salary: Starting from £190 per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team at Axcis in Wakefield. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students while fostering a love for the arts.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver engaging art lessons catering to diverse student abilities and interests.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment encouraging students to explore their creativity.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support artistic development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and activities.
5. Stay updated with developments in art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Previous secondary-level art teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
