Art Teacher is required to start in a ‘Good’ School based in Sidcup, South East London.

Key Stage: KS3 & KS4 Art

I’m seeking an Art teacher who can teach up to KS4 in a thriving and supportive school located in Sidcup, South East London.

This position begins in January 2024 and is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. The ideal candidate will be committed, positive, and versatile to join their successful department.

You will be expected to deliver excellent subject knowledge for KS3 and KS4. The school is medium-sized, mixed sex, and has outstanding facilities.

This school prides itself on creating a positive and respectful learning environment. It also offers free in-school training and CPD opportunities where staff can participate.

Art Teacher Contract Details:

• Location: South East London – Lewisham
• Position: Art Teacher
• Type of work: KS3 / KS4
• Start date: September 2024
• Contract type: Temp to perm
• Working days: 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• Pay: Scale, Inner London rates
• Hours: 8:00 am – 3:30/4:00 pm, including parents' evenings

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent
• PGCE / SCITT / Teach First
• English-related degree
