We at GSL Education Kent are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Shepway, covering a maternity leave from next week through to the end of the academic year in July. As a Teacher of Art, your role will include:

1. Planning and delivering engaging and imaginative lessons that foster a love for the arts.
2. Supporting students in developing their technical skills across various media and styles.
3. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing meaningful feedback to promote growth.
4. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures student expression.
5. Contributing to departmental planning, exhibitions, and extra-curricular opportunities.

To be considered for the Art Teacher role, you must:

1. Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification (such as QTLS or PGCE). Overseas-trained teachers are welcome to apply.
2. Possess a degree in Art, Design, or a related discipline.
3. Have experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
4. Demonstrate a strong passion for arts education and student creativity.
5. Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
