Job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join a creative and supportive team. At this school, they value the power of artistic expression and aim to foster a love of the visual arts in every student. Beginning April 2025.

Duties as an Art Teacher:

1. Teach Art across KS3/KS4/KS5, including GCSE and/or A-Level where appropriate
2. Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in a range of artistic media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art
3. Encourage students to develop their own style while learning about influential artists and movements
4. Support students with portfolio development and exam preparation
5. Contribute to exhibitions, arts events, and whole-school creative projects

Ideal Art Teacher:

1. QTS and a degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, or a related field
2. Strong subject knowledge and technical skills across a variety of media
3. Enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed to fostering creativity
