We are seeking a talented and committed Art Teacher to join a highly successful and innovative Art & Design department at a forward-thinking secondary school in Basingstoke. The role is available from September 2025, and the position is suitable for experienced teachers or confident ECTs with strong creative flair.

The Role:
You will teach Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level depending on experience. The school places a high value on creativity and visual literacy, with students regularly entering regional exhibitions and national competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad and engaging curriculum in Art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media

  • Plan and assess coursework and projects at GCSE and/or A-Level

  • Develop student confidence, expression, and artistic identity

  • Contribute to extra-curricular enrichment, including art clubs and showcases

  • Work closely with colleagues to integrate themes across the creative arts faculty
