Working closely with the Gallery Director, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer experiences and developing client relationships within a high-end art environment.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor, you will introduce clients to an exceptional collection that blends historical masters likeAuguste RodinandSalvador Dalíwith contemporary stars such asBanksy, Lorenzo Quinn, Wolfgang Stiller,andGary James McQueen. Your role is to create memorable artistic journeys where collectors connect with pieces that speak to both legacy and innovation.

You will:

  • Report directly to the Gallery Director
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, providing a personalised and informative service
  • Use the CRM database and local business networks to drive lead generation and new sales
  • Arrange and attend in-gallery or on-site consultation appointments
  • Sell artworks priced between £5,000–£250,000 confidently to clients of various backgrounds
  • Stay current with trends in art, design, and investment opportunities
  • Organise and host artist events, previews, and exhibitions

This is afull-time role, working 6 days over a 5-day rota. Flexibility is essential due to event schedules outside standard business hours.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Previous experience in luxury sales or gallery environments
  • Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity withCanva, Artsy, Mailchimp, Artlogic CRM
  • Knowledge ofAML regulationsandcustoms procedures
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Experience in artist research and database expansion
  • Understanding of art fairs (e.g.,London Art Fair, FRIEZE)

Responsibilities

  • Implement innovative sales strategies to exceed goals
  • Deliver weekly sales performance reports
  • Grow the client base through proactive outreach and referrals
  • Focus on meaningful, in-person client engagement
  • Build long-term relationships that result in repeat business and referrals
