Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced teacher to deliver Design and Technology across Food Tech, Design & Technology and Art, within a SEND environment. You will support pupils with ASD/SEMH, helping them learn, develop abilities and raise confidence.

The role rewards resilience and dedication; in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy staff back you up, with a brand-new state-of-the-art setting for up to 72 pupils aged 8–16 in Tonbridge and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a resilient, dedicated approach to teaching pupils with ASD/SEMH.
• Must have previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status.
• Ability to connect subjects (Art, DT, Food Tech) to each pupil’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Design and Technology curriculum (Food Tech, DT, Art).
• Engage and support pupils with ASD/SEMH to develop skills and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with school staff to deliver a high-quality SEND education.
