For more than 200 years, we’ve put young people first and have built a trusted charity with vital services that strive to transform lives, families and communities.

When starting a new job at Kibble, you’ll become part of a dedicated staff team who make sure children are happy and safe 365 days a year, 24/7. Whether your role is in care, education, or the corporate side, you’ll help give young people a chance at life.

Kibble is looking to appoint a registered or eligible for registration with the GTC (Scotland), experienced Art Teacher who is keen to gain experience of working with children and young people with additional support needs.

Our Expressive Arts Department

The education team at Kibble is based across our schools; primary school - Forest View, secondary school - Goudie Academy, safe centre school - Mirin Academy and The Skills Academy, where there is opportunity to work in collaboration with local community groups as well as national organisations to strengthen opportunities, experiences and development for our learners.

Education Scotland’s inspection report praised Kibble as ‘Very Good’ across all quality indicators, noting positive learning experiences and high motivation among pupils.

What is the job function?

As a teacher at Kibble you will be part of a friendly, supportive and creative team. Small class sizes (6 pupils) allow our learners to meet their maximum potential. Personalised Learning Plans ensure you can deliver the appropriate qualifications to learners based on their needs. You will be well versed in differentiation and personalisation of education and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons to enthuse often reluctant learners.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with learners who access Kibble’s Education services, working across Curriculum for Excellence and delivering National Qualifications as well as Wider Achievement Qualifications.
