Job summary

Stopsley High School is seeking a committed teacher of Art and Design Technology to cover a maternity period starting January 2027 or sooner. The role may lead to a permanent vacancy depending on availability and Trust processes.

Suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher (ECT). The successful candidate will have experience in Art or Design Technology, with possible dual-specialism advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Art or Design Technology; experience in both is desirable but not essential.
• Open to experienced teachers or Early Careers Teachers (ECT).
• Willingness to contribute to a strong, collaborative department and to engage in CPD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Art and Design Technology lessons.
• Contribute to the department's development and CPD for staff and ECTs.
• Support a smooth maternity cover period with potential for a permanent vacancy.
