Salary: £140 – £210 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
About the Role:
A vibrant and creative secondary school in Stockport is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Art & Design Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for art education and a proven track record of promoting creativity and independent thinking in students.
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering creative and engaging art lessons with a focus on both traditional techniques and digital media
Supporting students through their GCSE Art coursework and portfolios
Organising displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities within the department
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
Candidate Profile:
QTS in Art & Design or a related discipline
Strong subject knowledge in both practical and theoretical elements of art
Passion for nurturing student creativity and confidence
Experience teaching GCSE Art is desirable
