Location: Cheadle, Stockport
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £140 – £210 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

About the Role:
A vibrant and creative secondary school in Stockport is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Art & Design Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for art education and a proven track record of promoting creativity and independent thinking in students.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering creative and engaging art lessons with a focus on both traditional techniques and digital media

  • Supporting students through their GCSE Art coursework and portfolios

  • Organising displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities within the department

  • Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development

Candidate Profile:

  • QTS in Art & Design or a related discipline

  • Strong subject knowledge in both practical and theoretical elements of art

  • Passion for nurturing student creativity and confidence

  • Experience teaching GCSE Art is desirable
