Harris Academy Tottenham is seeking a qualified Subject Leader of Art and Design to join our open and collaborative team. You will lead provision across KS3–KS5, drive outstanding teaching and learning, and help shape curriculum and assessment strategies in line with the academy's vision.

The successful candidate will have QTS, substantial teaching experience, and a track record in staff development, coaching, and improving student outcomes through literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.

Formación

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' teaching experience
• Knowledge of National Curriculum KS3–KS5
• Experience delivering high-quality INSET and coaching for staff development
• Evidence of leading, supporting and managing others
• Proven success in raising achievement as a leader or practitioner
• Experience with monitoring, evaluation and using data to improve teaching
• Good ICT skills and use of technology to raise standards
• Experience with curriculum development
• Ability to implement change effectively across a school-wide subject area

Responsabilidades

• Establish outstanding provision within the Art & Design subject area across KS3–KS5
• Be accountable for student progress and attainment in the subject area
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area
• Provide an engaging, differentiated curriculum aligned with academy aims
• Ensure implementation of school policies within the subject area
• Effectively manage teaching staff and resources in the subject area
• Lead development for literacy within the subject area to raise standards
