Job summary

Harris Academy Tottenham in London is seeking a qualified teacher with subject leadership experience to take on the role of Subject Leader of Art and Design. You will join an open and supportive team committed to outstanding provision in Art and Design.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have at least three years of teaching, and be able to lead, coach and develop others, using ICT and curriculum development to raise attainment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience, ideally with KS5 in multi-ethnic urban schools.
• Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Experience delivering INSET to teaching staff and coaching for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and manage others to ensure high-quality performance.
• Deliver high-quality INSET to teaching staff within the Art and Design area.
• Use coaching as a model for ongoing professional development.
• Help establish outstanding provision within Art and Design across programmes, systems and structures.
