An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Art & Design Enhancements Project Manager to lead therapeutic design projects across healthcare environments. Art and therapeutic design commissioning for healthcare environments across NHS Lothian, as part of our Tonic Arts programme.
We’re seeking to contract a freelance individual with knowledge of art and design commissioning to deliver therapeutic enhancements in new healthcare refurbishments and builds across NHS Lothian, in Edinburgh & the Lothians, as part of our Tonic Arts programme.
The Art & Design Enhancements Project Manager will manage every stage of project from concept to delivery and evaluation. They will take a collaborative, participatory approach to commissioning and will develop participatory activity to accompany the enhancements, collaborating with colleagues to see this delivered. They will also maintain and develop recently initiated design resources for staff support.
From interior design in consultation rooms, to small scale surface design enhancements for waiting rooms, to larger arts commissions in public spaces, this is a varied contract working alongside the support of a small creative team.
Contract: 2 years (1 year contract with option to extend for an additional 2nd year)
Fee guidance: Annual maximum indicative budget of £36,000/ Year (inclusive of VAT if charged) to cover all fees, dependent on experience, based on up to a maximum £200/ day rate, 4-5 days/ week, 7.4hrs/ day. All activity budgets, travel costs and expenses are separate to this fee.
