Are you passionate about the arts and interested in facilitating access to them in a unique healthcare setting? Do you believe that art has the potential to transform the experience of children and their families in hospital? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the GOSH Arts team, as an Arts Coordinator in a three-year fixed term post. GOSH Arts' live arts programme, art collection and temporary displays inspire creativity, create welcoming environments, and offer meaningful and innovative cultural opportunities for communities both in and around the hospital. Our work plays an essential role in enhancing the hospital experience. Engaging with visiting artists and having art developed in collaboration with our community integrated into our buildings helps to create less clinical environments, contributes to reducing stress and anxiety and creates space for reflection and exchange. Working across the Live Arts programme you will support the planning and delivery of high-quality arts participation projects; music, dance and theatre performances; creative projects and temporary exhibitions for wards, outpatients and public areas. You will work closely with resident artists, as well as visiting artists and organisations, supporting them throughout project delivery. The Arts Coordinator will create content for a range of communication formats, as well as play a key role in supporting our monitoring and evaluation strategy and providing administrative support as required.
Manage GOSH Arts' resources and materials including maintaining the GOSH Arts store

Our hospital is committed to creating an environment that is open and inclusive. Our staff are encouraged to engage with colleagues through the following networks: REACH (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) ENABLED (Enhancing Abilities & Leveraging Disabilities Network), PRIDE and Women\'s networks; all of which are sponsored by a member of our Executive Management Team.
