Art and D&T Instructor– Up to £29,000.00 per annum, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, November 2025 start!

Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS

Our New Acorn Education School - Avonside School in Bristol, will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open August 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

Key Responsibilities

• To primarily teach Art across key stages 2, 3 and 4 but mainly KS3.
• To be a form tutor for students to support them in their education.
• To help support literacy and life skills programs where required.
• Play a key role in the development of SEN provision within Avonside.
• Work with the school’s therapy team and build strong curriculum based on the needs of the students.
• Enable access to learning and social opportunities for pupils with SEN through the delivery of teaching, support, families and the young person.
