Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is hiring an ARRS Assistant Practitioner to join the Primary Care Mental Health Team in The Vale Primary Care Network. This part-time role covers 22.5 hours per week across 4-5 days, with a mix of face-to-face and remote appointments.

You will support individuals with mild to moderate mental health difficulties through assessment, brief interventions, psychoeducation and lifestyle advice, in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to recovery-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver brief interventions and psychoeducation within a MDT Primary Care team.
• Support individuals to improve wellbeing and resilience.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with GPs and partners.
• Help access community resources and voluntary services.
