What’s the role?

As an Arranging Care Officer, you will play a key role in brokering and coordinating care packages for adults who need emergency, temporary, or long‑term residential, nursing or community‑based support. • Provide high‑quality information and advice to service users and their representatives
  • Support service transitions, hospital discharges, and urgent placements

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining problem‑solving, coordination, communication and professional judgement to ensure people receive the care they need—at the right time and in the right way.

What’s in it for you?

Excellent training and development opportunities, plus a range of benefits including:

  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Local Government Pension scheme
  • Flexible working and family friendly policies
  • Season ticket and bicycle loans
  • A range of staff discounts including local subsidised gym memberships
  • Supportive staff networks
