A military administrative organization is seeking a Garrison Administration Officer in Rushmoor to lead a team responsible for military personnel administration, financial auditing, and compliance monitoring. The successful candidate will oversee pay and allowances, act as an Internal Auditor, and ensure accurate personnel documentation. This role offers the opportunity to build partnerships with military leaders and enhance administrative operations while supporting soldiers and their families.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Aldershot Garrison Headquarters team, helping support and deliver operational outputs. Through leadership of the Garrison Administration Office, the Garrison Administration Officer is responsible for the co-ordination, control and management of the delivery of effective military personnel administration, public and non-public funds' accounting, and casework.
This job presents the opportunity to formulate and implement an action plan to help preserve the successful outcome on the Headquarters’ annual audit, in accordance with the chain of command. It represents a stimulating chance to encourage the partnering ethos within the Headquarters, in order to ensure we deliver assured and high-quality administrative provision.
The role offers the chance to build on the existing team of subject matter authorities, within the MOD and neighbouring units, on a range of important administrative services in support of Aldershot Garrison. You will also have the chance to act as the focal point, for our serving soldiers and build significant partnerships with Commanding Officers and their representatives through which we will see tangible benefits to our occupants, soldiers and their families.
