Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Wealth strategy and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and build the HSBC customer-first culture by coaching, mentoring, providing technical expertise, and regulatory supervision to a team of Wealth Managers and Analysts.
  • Ensure compliance, sales quality, and professional standards, acting as the first line of defense in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Influence partners to maximize Wealth opportunities, ensuring customers are serviced by appropriate advisors according to the Bank’s strategy.
  • Manage team performance, provide corrective and motivational feedback, and support development activities.
  • Deliver needs-based solutions and support holistic financial planning for clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
  • QCF Level 4 qualification with an appropriate advice-giving qualification (FCA Activity 4).
  • Currently hold Competent Adviser Status (CAS) under UK FCA jurisdiction, or previously held CAS with ongoing CPD and assessment record.
  • Market awareness to stay updated on market conditions and business standards.
  • Understanding of conduct risks and HSBC business standards.
  • Expert knowledge in holistic financial planning and wealth products.
  • Ability to promote high-quality customer service and understanding of the Wealth & Premier proposition.
