Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an Area Veterinary Surgeon to cover SE London & Kent border with responsibilities across multiple practices. The role includes routine surgeries and consultations, with possible sole charge, and offers flexibility and varied case exposure to support clinical development.

You’ll work with certificate holders in Surgery, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, and Small Animal Medicine, and benefit from career pathways, CPD support, and peer mentoring within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Area Veterinary Surgeon - SE London & Kent border

Salary up to £75,000 DOE and company car or car allowance

We are excited to be looking for a Area Veterinary Surgeon to cover inspiring vet care in parts of the SE London & Kent border region. The role will involve carrying out routine surgeries and consultations with the possibility of sole charge work. You will work across multiple practices in the region. This role offers a great deal of flexibility and exposure to a variety of cases supporting clinical exposure and development. This opportunity also allows the opportunity to work with certificate holders including those with certificates in Surgery, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.

The areas covered within the remit of the Area Veterinary Surgeon role are;
