Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Area Veterinary Surgeon to join their progressive, multi-site team in a popular Essex town. The Role

The Area Veterinary Surgeon will work across three practices, collaborating with multiple teams and managing a diverse and engaging caseload. This role combines consistency with variety: a flexible, structured rota is planned in advance, ensuring organised days while offering the excitement of different cases and practice environments.

  • Delivering exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Providing outstanding client service with clear patient updates and tailored treatment plans.
  • Upholding the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance.
  • Mentoring and guiding colleagues to enhance their skills and clinical confidence.
  • Supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures to optimise clinic performance.
About You

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for small animal care and a positive, proactive approach. They will be confident working both within a team and independently, including sole charge when required. Experience in routine surgeries and an interest in coaching and influencing colleagues are essential.
