Due to continued growth and expansion, Medivet Region 13, are seeking a dedicated and well-rounded Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team within the region, covering Faygate and surrounding practices.
This is a regional/area role designed to support a cluster of practices by providing consistent, high-quality veterinary care across multiple sites. You’ll work on pre-planned, structured shift patterns, allowing you to form meaningful client relationships while also contributing to the overall continuity of care across the region.
This full-time position is based on a 40-hour working week (across four 10-hour days) with allocated shifts set in advance. This structure offers a balance between a varied caseload and stability in your routine, ensuring both professional development and work-life balance. You’ll be travelling between practices, so a full, clean UK driving licence is essential. The practices you’ll support are all Branch Partner-led, meaning you’ll be working alongside experienced clinical teams, including certificate holders and senior vets, within well-established and forward-thinking environments.
We are looking for a confident, compassionate veterinary surgeon with a minimum of three years’ experience in small animal practice within the UK. You should have a solid foundation in general practice and surgery, be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills. The ability to manage sole charge responsibilities when required is also important.
This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of multiple close-knit teams, all united by Medivet’s commitment to clinical excellence and gold-standard patient care. With access to a wide range of cases and clinical expertise across the region, this is an ideal role for a vet looking to expand their experience, make a meaningful contribution to patient outcomes, and develop their career within a supportive, growth-focused network.
