Description

This role has a starting salary of £47,142 per annum, based on a 36 hour (full-time) working week.

We are excited to be hiring two new Team Around the School (TAS) Coordinators to join our fantastic Team Around the School Support Hub based in Woking. The role is open to hybrid working and as a team we split our time between regular travel to schools across Surrey, collaborating with colleagues in the office, and working from home.

The two positions available are as follows:

  • 1 x full-time (36 hours), permanent position
  • 1 x full-time (36 hours), 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity

About the Role

The TAS Hub is part of the 'Early Intervention, Prevention and Support' sector within Surrey's 'Children, Families and Lifelong Learning' Directorate. We work closely with schools, partners and families to help children thrive in mainstream education, focusing on emerging needs, pupils at SEN Support level, and disadvantaged groups.

Our model enhances the great work already happening in schools through targeted, relational support that makes a real difference. We prioritise whole-school approaches, restorative practice, and relational health to ensure our interventions are impactful and inclusive.

As a TAS Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering early intervention. You'll work collaboratively with SEND Support Advisors and Neurodiversity Advisors to respond to whole-school and cohort needs, and provide individual support where required. You'll build trusted relationships with education leaders, remain calm under pressure, and deliver excellent service with integrity, and challenge where needed.

Your visible leadership will inspire and motivate colleagues; modelling behaviours that demonstrate how accountability, and a solution-focused mindset, can support the delivery of services which respond to the evolving needs of our school communities.
