We are seeking a gas-qualified Area Supervisor to join our busy heating service & repair team.

Overview of Role:

This pivotal role involves delivering efficient heating system surveys and installations, assessing domestic properties, and ensuring solutions meet standards and customer needs. It requires technical expertise, customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of engineers, providing technical support, encouragement, and training to meet workload targets.
• Lead technical discussions during monthly toolbox meetings, sharing updates and addressing issues.
• Promote quality work, professionalism, and employee development within the team.
• Build client relationships, assist in resolving issues, attend site visits, and provide technical overviews.
• Ensure contractual and specific client requirements are met or exceeded.
• Communicate procedures and requirements through daily contact and structured meetings.
• Support regional training and technical support for engineers, including inductions and ongoing development.
• Champion the competency scheme, ensure records are maintained, and training needs are identified.
• Conduct quality checks and health & safety audits as per targets.
• Cover for Regional Manager when needed and assist with disciplinary or grievance investigations.

Required Attributes:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent.
• Preferably ACS accreditations such as CCN1 and CENWAT.
• Experience in heating surveys or domestic installation projects.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in survey reports.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.
