What will I be doing?

  • Ensuring the Drivers are managed effectively and ensuring the working hours are managed, ensuring information is provided to payroll to ensure that staff are paid correctly.
  • Further responsibility involves maintaining budgetary control over operations and ordering equipment and resources as necessary for your role.
  • You will be the main CPC holder to the operation and as such you have responsibility to ensure that the operation is operated in accordance with the Operator Licence.
  • This role is also expected to ensure that all records on sites are up to date and kept in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation, including training records, safe working procedures & risk assessments.

What are the requirements?

  • Working as part of a team, you must have a qualification in national/international CPC in road haulage with experience and have the ability to work with the wider team to make improvements on the contract.
  • A good understanding of H&S and Environmental requirements in the workplace along with the ability to produce risk assessments and standard working procedures.
  • You must be able to work to deadlines and be proactive in their approach to the day to day requirements of the role.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, but not essential.
