Hours: 37–40 hours/week across 7 days (weekend work required – at least 1 in 3); overtime likely

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, field-based supervisory role with limited hybrid work. Occasional driving of a 3.5t Council van is required.

Key Duties:

  • Promote and support material reuse across sites
  • Supervise and train site staff
  • Enforce safe systems of work and operational procedures
  • Monitor PPE, uniform, and Body Worn Camera usage
  • Maintain accurate records for waste and QMS compliance

Requirements:

  • Strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Supervisory and training experience
  • Full UK driving licence (3.5t), own vehicle, business-use insurance
  • Certificate of Technical Competence
  • Experience driving 3.5t vehicles

Mileage:

Base location for mileage claims will be your nearest RHWS (excluding Whetstone), likely one of: Barwell, Coalville, Loughborough, Market Harborough, Melton, Mountsorrel, or Oadby.
