Daily Responsibilities

Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a designated region, including managing computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics. Install, update, and maintain hardware/software, ensure asset accountability, and keep detailed maintenance records. Use advanced electrical theory and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, calibrating electronic equipment to strict specifications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in IT or a related field is preferred. Must have a solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, and basic electronics. Knowledge of telecommunications systems, circuit boards, processors, and chips is essential. Proficiency in using, repairing, and maintaining various machines and tools is necessary. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, possess a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel approximately 75% of the time.
