Job description

Day Aggregates is one of the largest independent aggregate companies operating mainly in the South. We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Representative responsible for loose aggregates and packed products sales into the Kent market area.

Responsibilities
  1. Managing sales accounts within the region.
  2. Working with the internal Sales team based at the local internal sales office.
  3. Retaining and growing existing business.
  4. Gaining new business through proactive marketing.
  5. Cross-promotions and maintaining supply.
  6. Promoting the Day Group and its activities.
  7. Maximising levels of profit and margin.
  8. Providing a high level of service to customers at all times.
  9. Other Duties: Conduct any other reasonable duties/requests as required by the Commercial Manager and Directors. Conform with all Company policies.
Person Specification
  • Experience in the field sales environment.
  • Pro-active and positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to use initiative in solving problems.

This role would be based at the Greenwich Office and cover the Kent areas.

Working hours

42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 07:00 – 17:30, including 30 minutes unpaid for lunch.
