Job Title: Area Sales Representative

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Company Car + Fuel Card + Annual Bonus

About the Company: My client, a well-established Plant and Tool Hire company providing high-quality equipment and exceptional customer service across the Merseyside region. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Area Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team and help drive new business opportunities.

The Role: As an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business across the Merseyside region, building relationships with new clients, and promoting our full range of plant and tool hire services. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This is a field-based position, offering you the flexibility to manage your time and approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and target new business opportunities within the Merseyside region.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  3. Promote and sell a full range of plant and tool hire products and services.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients' needs are met and exceeded.
  5. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  6. Report on sales activities and performance to the management team.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
Skills & Experience:
  1. Proven sales experience in a field-based or business development role (experience within the plant and tool hire industry is a plus).
  2. Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  5. Full UK driving licence (company car provided).
