Southern Area Sales Representative
The Role: This is a brand-new opening within a growing organisation who are expanding into new markets and are looking to be much more pro-active in their sales approach. Selling a range of push-fit CCTV cameras, the Southern Area Sales Representative will be selling directly into the plumbing & pest control industries. These push-fit cameras give contractors the ability to see down pipes, drains, and in hard to reach locations for blockages, broken piping, or critters in places they shouldn't be! This product offering also includes robotic crawlers to get in tight spaces where humans can't, cable reels, auxiliary lighting, and accessories to form a complete solution.
The Southern Area Sales Representative will be targeting plumbing contractors of a small to medium size ilk as well as pest control type businesses who would have a need for such an offering. In addition, as this is a fully autonomous new business development based role you could also target different routes to market outside of the direct approach. There are opportunities to open up relationships with distributors in the plumbing & heating arena also if you are able. This is an external, field sales, role in which you will be travelling on the road at least 4-days per week and a major part of the sales process is to demonstrate the product on site so that your customer base can get a real appreciation of the benefit. Therefore you will be equipped with a brand-new Mercedes Vito commercial vehicle in order to carry kit & equipment to site.
The Company: This business have been incorporated for 30 years and for the last 8 years have been integrated into a wider European group of businesses. They have brought their manufacturing to the UK recently which is further enhancing their reputation and branding. This is the first step of their sales team expansion journey into 2025 with a view to growing new markets and building new supply chain relationships - you can certainly be a part of this journey!
Package: £35,000-45,000 basic salary DOE + £20k OTE potential (paid quarterly & annually) + company commercial vehicle (Mercedes van) + pension (up to 7.5% contribution) + 25 days holiday + healthcare schemes + enhanced maternity/paternity pay scheme + laptop/mobile
